Why choose Arts Award?

Arts Award takes children and young people on a creative journey, exploring the arts world, discovering their potential as artists, developing leadership skills – and gaining a recognised qualification along the way.

The Arts Award guidelines are flexible enough to suit almost any form of creative practice, so it really is lead by your own passion and tailored to your own creativity.

Our studios at The Ruze are perfectly suited to delivering Arts Awards, with a state-of-the-art recording studio and venue performance space all available to use as part of their projects, and a range of instruments available on site for all to use.

Who is it for?

This will benefit any young person aged 11-18,  with an interest in music, with either some musical skills or the desire to learn. It is also ideal for a young person for whom an extra GCSE or A-level equivalent qualification may help with college or university applications, as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.

It is a great way to develop transferable skills in creativity and communication, problem-solving, reflective thinking, and confidence.
